About the Role

We are seeking a passionate Linux and OpenStack expert to join our team as a Site Reliability Engineer. As a Site Reliability Engineer, you will take ownership of maintaining and managing OpenStack environments, supporting a highly skilled engineering team, and driving innovation within the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor system performance, plan for future capacity, and address any issues to maintain continuity of service.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure seamless operation of OpenStack platforms and resolve any technical challenges.
  • Provide support for instance creation, end-user management, and rapid application development.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Linux OS, with strong skills in scripting (bash, python) and command-line tools, particularly within RHEL environments.
  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools to maintain system health and performance.

  • Competitive Salary: Circa £80,000, depending on experience.
