Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced AWS Site Reliability Engineer to join our team. As a Site Reliability Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our cloud infrastructure. You will work closely with our engineering teams to design, implement, and operate our cloud-based systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement scalable and reliable cloud infrastructure using AWS services.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to identify and resolve infrastructure-related issues.
  • Develop and maintain monitoring and logging tools to ensure service continuity.
  • Implement security best practices to maintain the integrity of our cloud platforms.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to design and implement automation scripts to improve efficiency and reduce manual errors.

Requirements:

  • Advanced expertise with Linux OS, particularly RHEL, with strong command line and scripting skills (bash, Python) for automation tasks.
  • Skilled in provisioning, configuring, and managing virtual machines and containers within OpenStack.
  • Solid understanding of monitoring and logging tools to ensure service continuity and expertise in security best practices for maintaining OpenStack platforms.

  • Competitive base salary: up to £80,000 (dependent on experience)
