A Pastry Chef is tasked with managing the pastry section of the kitchen to ensure an exceptional experience for Guests and Members while planning production and creating seasonal offerings.


What Will You Be Doing?

As a Pastry Chef, you will oversee the pastry section of the kitchen, collaborating closely with the Executive Chef and Sous Chef to provide an outstanding experience for Guests and Members. You will also be responsible for planning production and developing seasonal menu items. Specifically, your responsibilities will include:

Assisting in the management of the pastry section of the kitchen.Ensuring high-quality standards across all dessert offerings.Injecting creativity into the pastry selections.Supervising and coordinating all pastry and dessert preparation and presentation.Planning production to meet daily requirements.Creating appropriate seasonal menu offerings.Managing food cost controls to enhance Food and Beverage revenue.Ensuring adherence to food hygiene and Health and Safety regulations.

What Are We Seeking?

Pastry Chefs serving Hilton brands consistently represent our Guests and collaborate with fellow Team Members. To excel in this role, you should embody the following attitudes, behaviors, skills, and values:

A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Pastry Chef de Partie or Pastry Chef in a high-volume food production environment.A creative approach to pastry.Strong leadership abilities.A current, valid, and relevant trade qualification (proof may be required).A positive demeanor.Effective communication skills.Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.High grooming standards.Excellent planning and organizational skills.Dedication to providing outstanding service and continuous improvement.

It would be advantageous for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

Relevant qualifications for the role.Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends, days, afternoons, and evenings.Proficiency with computers and software programs, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
