Senior Social Media Manager - Italian Market

Born Social is a full-service social media agency that's part of the new era of advertising. Our client list includes household names like Guinness, Primark, Ford, Mars, and ASDA, as well as the next generation of big brands like Nando's, Seedlip, and Peloton.

We're a proud B Corp that works hard to attract, retain, and develop the best social-first talent and create a culture where individuals can thrive. We're looking for a Senior Social Media Manager who's an Italian native to lead the local market social strategy for Ford in Italy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a social media strategy that aligns with Ford's brand values and social-first best practices.
  • Build and engage with the Italian market community through content creation, community management, and local activations.
  • Collaborate with the Ford Europe account team to deliver content, community management, and local activations.
  • Lead a team of Social Media Managers and provide guidance on copywriting, community tactics, content ideation, and platform strategy.
  • Ensure that all social media content reflects the brand's tone of voice and mirrors social-first best practices.
  • Define the role of community in getting into culture by identifying reactive and proactive community management opportunities.
  • Work with the Strategy and Creative teams to translate the creative direction into specific best-in-class, social-first content.
  • Build meaningful relationships with clients in market through regular meetings.
  • Oversee and advise on the distribution of all organic content.
  • Collaborate with Media Planners and Social Media Managers to ensure we are capturing the performance of organic output.
  • Responsible for the leadership of Social Media Managers, ensuring they are developing professionally and personally.
Requirements:
  • You're a London-based Italian native (who speaks fluent English too).
  • You have 3-5 years of experience working in social media, agency side.
  • You love brands and social media: you're fascinated by brands and how they market themselves.
  • You are a creative thinker: able to work both independently and collaboratively on ideation for content.
  • You have pride in your work: we treat our client's brands as our own and are meticulous about our approach.
