About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Domestic Support Staff Member. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, supporting our cleaning staff to maintain a clean and safe environment for our patients and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and prioritize daily tasks to ensure a smooth operation of the cleaning team.
  • Treat patients and service users with dignity and respect, providing a high level of customer service.
  • Empty and dispose of domestic and clinical waste in accordance with our Infection Control and Waste Disposal Policies.
  • Carry out general cleaning tasks, including dusting, cleaning of sanitary fittings and fixtures, and replenishing consumables.
  • Supply and replenish cleaning products and equipment as needed.
  • Participate in the cleaning and maintenance of the hospital's facilities, including floors, walls, and equipment.
  • Collaborate with the cleaning team to ensure a high level of cleanliness and organization throughout the hospital.
Requirements
  • Experience in a similar role or in a healthcare setting.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy equipment and supplies.
  • Basic knowledge of cleaning products and equipment.
