Nuffield Health Vale Hospital is seeking a skilled Housekeeper / Domestic Assistant to join our team.

About the Role:

  • We are looking for a motivated and organized individual to assist in maintaining a clean and safe environment for our patients and staff.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for cleaning and preparing various areas, including patient rooms, common areas, and equipment.
  • They will also be responsible for managing cleaning supplies, reporting maintenance issues, and collaborating with other departments to ensure a smooth operation.

  • The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service to our patients and staff.

Responsibilities:

  • Clean and prepare patient rooms, common areas, and equipment to the highest standards.
  • Manage cleaning supplies, report maintenance issues, and collaborate with other departments as needed.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients and staff, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to improve skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality service and maintaining a clean and safe environment.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to use software applications.
