Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Risk Management Specialist to conduct a team-specific risk analysis for our core teams, strengthening and future-proofing our existing risk management frameworks, with a focus on operational risks.
Key Responsibilities- Meet with team leaders (investment management, commercial, asset management, construction, finance, and all central functions) to draft an updated team-by-team risk matrix, with a full schedule of identified risks, and their mitigation and management.
- Help develop a standardized rating system for escalation and assessment of risk at the group level.
- Consider enhancements to existing risk reporting and develop risk reporting for fund investment committees and the company board.
- Develop training for the teams, where required, to enhance the identification and prioritization of risks.
- Review existing risk policies and suggest updates and refinements based on the outcome of the initial risk analysis.
- Contribute to discussions on the review of risk appetite and risk tolerance.
- Bachelor's degree
- Strong project management and organization skills, with the ability to prioritize and deliver within strict deadlines and under pressure.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Enthusiastic and interested in learning about the different areas of the business.
