Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Skills Trainer to join our team at Centrica plc. As a Technical Skills Trainer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality technical training to our engineers, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver comprehensive technical training programs for engineers, covering all key engineering disciplines.
  • Manage and lead training groups, ensuring a smooth learning journey and timely skills and qualification attainment.
  • Meet performance targets and metrics related to success rates and timely skills and qualification attainment.
  • Administer and manage all aspects of engineer training, assessment, and internal quality assurance.
  • Lead by example and promote a culture of safety excellence within the workplace.
  • Act as an ambassador and promoter of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DE&I), fostering a culture that allows colleagues and customers to thrive.
  • Stay up-to-date with current and future skills requirements, ensuring compliance and technical expertise with relevant competencies, legislation, and industry codes of practice.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to ensure quality and timely completion of all delivery solutions.

Requirements:

  • Hold Core ACS +4 certification.
