Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Manufacturing Leader to oversee all aspects of engineering and manufacturing at our facilities. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and a proven track record of successfully managing engineering, operations, and manufacturing teams and projects in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Provide mentorship and guidance to drive high performance, collaboration, and growth within engineering and operations teams.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and execute strategies to boost innovation, efficiency, and meet business goals across all departments.
- Project Management: Oversee engineering projects, managing budgets, schedules, and risks from concept to completion.
- Manufacturing Oversight: Lead production processes, ensuring on-time delivery, quality control, and cost targets are met.
- Performance Optimisation: Track and improve key performance indicators, identifying areas for process enhancements.
- Logistics Management: Optimise logistics, transportation, and warehousing to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and environmental regulations, driving a culture of accountability.
Requirements
- Significant experience in engineering, operations, and manufacturing management, with a proven period spent in a leadership or management role.
- Proven track record of successfully leading and managing cross-functional teams and projects in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong technical expertise in mechanical, electrical, and/or chemical engineering, with a focus on industrial equipment and systems.
- Experience with ERP systems, project management tools, and other operational software applications.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and practices, including 5S, Kaizen, and Six Sigma.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with a commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
