We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled End Point Assessor to join our team at Pearson. As an End Point Assessor, you will play a critical role in ensuring that apprentices meet the rigorous standards set by employers and are fully competent in their occupation.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct end-point assessments of apprentices in a fair and unbiased manner
- Record and submit assessment outcomes with clear justifications for grading decisions
- Ensure that all EPA reports and assessment evidence are of high quality and accurately recorded
- Support Pearson with any appeals from apprentices regarding assessment decisions
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of Pearson's end-point assessment activities
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- Significant relevant practical experience developing players within the specific elite sports environment
- Hold or be working towards an assessors qualification (A1 assessors award or TAQA qualification)
- Hold a recognised sport specific coaching qualification at Level 3 or higher
- Hold a UEFA B certificate
- Be approved or sanctioned by the relevant National Governing Body of sport
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills, including the ability to effectively respond to conflicts
- Flexibility to understand and respond to the individual needs and circumstances of employers/apprentices
