We are seeking a Head of Lease Advisory Services to oversee the Lease Advisory team in the South East region. You will be part of a leading group of 30 Surveyors distributed across JLL's UK office network, with the chance to influence the strategic growth trajectory of our Lease Advisory operations in the UK.
The core responsibility of this role involves offering guidance to JLL's investor and occupier clientele regarding rent assessments, lease renewals, lease modifications, and surrender agreements within the South East office sector. The successful candidate will also provide comprehensive lease and rental counsel to clients and colleagues throughout the organization.
The individual will play a pivotal role in identifying new business prospects, collaborating with agency, investment, and other professional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively manage the national and international client portfolio to achieve the financial objectives for the broader London and South East team.
- Execute lease advisory projects appropriate to the role.
- Pursue business development opportunities in partnership with colleagues across various disciplines within the firm.
- Assess strategic recruitment to enhance the Lease Advisory team and nurture the skills and potential of team members.
- Provide precise management reports to the Head of UK Lease Advisory.
- Drive year-on-year revenue and profit growth.
- Oversee fee negotiations, billing processes, all team initiatives, and debt recovery efforts.

- Strong commercial insight to deliver optimal solutions for clients, with the ability to recognize opportunities beyond the immediate client requirements.
- Capacity to manage timelines and perform under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
- Ability to engage, support, and handle multiple instructions simultaneously.
- Proficient in managing relationships with clients and colleagues at all levels.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Strong negotiation and analytical skills, including the ability to interpret and analyze extensive data sets.
Essential Experience:
- Comprehensive understanding of the South East office markets and client demographics.
- Proven experience in rent review, lease modification, and lease renewal negotiations.
- Expertise in Expert Witness report writing is crucial.
- Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and collaborative.
- Agile, trustworthy, innovative, and courageous.
- Valid driving license and access to a vehicle.
