Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Lease Advisory Surveyor to join our industrial lease consultancy team. The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking a wide range of lease consultancy work, including rent reviews and lease renewals, to produce the best possible result for our clients.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical knowledge of industrial property, including relevant legislation and case law. They will also have excellent negotiation skills, commercial awareness, and the ability to work on their own initiative while being an excellent team player.

Main Responsibilities
  • Assist in the development of the industrial lease consultancy business with investors, funds, and occupiers.
  • Negotiate rent reviews, lease renewals, and regears on behalf of landlords and tenants.
  • Carry out property inspections, conduct negotiations, and prepare third-party submissions as required.
  • Use strong research and analytical skills to identify and interpret market rental evidence.
  • Manage and prioritize a busy and developing caseload using good organizational skills.
  • Develop and maintain a strong network of internal and external contacts to further develop business for Gerald Eve.
About You
  • MRICS qualified
  • Technical knowledge of industrial property, including relevant legislation and case law
  • Commercially aware
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Ability to work on own initiative while being an excellent team player
  • Proven IT skills, including proficient use of Microsoft Office
  • Well-organized, efficient, and able to work to tight deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with an eye for detail and a commitment to excellence
  • Proactive, flexible, and self-motivated with a real desire to deliver excellent customer service

Working Hours

The normal hours of work for this position are 0900hrs to 1730hrs, Monday to Friday. This position also involves out of hours working on an 'as necessary' basis. The Firm is open to considering flexible working arrangements for everyone; this can be discussed during the application process or upon commencement.
