Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Inspection Operations Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating inspection activities, managing project schedules, and providing technical advice to clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate inspection activities with engineers and designers to ensure timely delivery of engineering and inspection reports.
  • Manage project schedules and establish target completion dates to ensure projects are completed on time.
  • Direct the preparation of technical inquiries to vendors and participate in the evaluation of vendor bids.
  • Review client proposals and requirements, prepare equipment and material estimates, and coordinate the preparation of purchase orders.
  • Provide technical advice to GDi and clients on inspection and asset management matters.
  • Develop manpower charts and schedules, recommend manpower allocation, and distribute manpower for engineering and construction activities within budgeted project man-hours.
  • Participate in HAZOP meetings with clients and representatives of other engineering disciplines.

Requirements:

  • Vocational qualifications in inspection, engineering, or technical disciplines.
  • Ability to understand client requirements and proficient in scope definition through concept, FEED, and detailed design.
  • Five years of relevant experience in inspection of offshore plant and equipment, with recognized plant inspection qualification and inspection/NDT qualifications preferred.
  • Foster positive and effective working relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Sound time and resource management skills.
  • Cognizant of business requirements and needs, and adaptable to changing environments and business requirements.
