Key Responsibilities
- Cost Estimation and Budgeting
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for various stages of projects, including initial proposals and final valuations.
- Develop and maintain project budgets, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Contract Administration
- Review and administer contracts, including negotiating terms with suppliers and subcontractors.
- Ensure compliance with contract specifications and resolve any disputes that arise.
- Financial Reporting and Analysis
- Monitor project costs, track expenditures, and prepare regular financial reports.
- Identify potential cost overruns and recommend corrective actions to keep projects within budget.
- Site Measurements and Valuations
- Conduct site measurements and valuations to ensure accurate billing and cost assessments.
- Manage variations and adjustments as required, ensuring all changes are documented and appropriately priced.
- Financial Insights and Support
- Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other team members to provide financial insights and support project decision-making.
- Communicate effectively with clients and contractors to address any financial issues.
- Risk Management and Compliance
- Identify financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Assess potential impacts of changes in project scope, schedule, or design on costs and budgets.
- Financial Record-Keeping
- Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions and documentation related to the project.

Requirements
- Education
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or similar is highly desirable.
- Experience
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, working with an ICP or Multi-Utility Contractor is required.
