The Project

We are supporting a multi-£m, UK-wide capital works and BAU/lifecycle programme beyond 2028, across a diverse estate. As a Cost Consultant, you will work with our client to develop a commercial strategy that supports the strategic intent and aspirations of the authority in delivering suitable workplace solutions.

Your Key Responsibilities
  1. Advocate for Mace's value of safety first, leading and maintaining exceptional safety, quality, cost, programme, sustainability, and project compliance standards.
  2. Support cost planning, including ownership of and presenting cost plans to clients and internal stakeholders.
  3. Support the procurement process, ensuring effective stages including prequalification, enquiry, analysis, selection, and contract preparation.
  4. Deliver cost management services to achieve key strategic outcomes and KPIs, directly influencing strategic development of plans.
  5. Conduct feasibility studies, advise on procurement strategies, and contract selection, writing and undertaking procurement reports.
