Job Overview

HRLife Ltd is seeking a highly skilled ER Specialist to join our team. As an ER Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting the day-to-day Employee Relations (ER) issues, utilizing your knowledge of employment legislation, policy, and best practice to guide and advise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert advice to managers on complex ER cases, including a range of issues.
  • Identify, assess, manage, resolve, and mitigate risk.
  • Manage cases through to early conciliation and employment tribunal.
  • Develop and deliver face-to-face and virtual training on HR-related matters, including Investigations, Disciplinary, Grievance, Appeals, and UK Employment Legislation.
  • Create documentation showcasing 'what good looks like' for training and development purposes around key HR subjects.
  • Ensure policies and procedures support best ER practice.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working in a multi-site or blue-collar environment.
  • Track record of dealing with high-volume, complex ER cases.
  • Comfortable handling complete ER cases, Subject Access Requests, and preparing documents for employment tribunals.
  • Ideal CIPD level 5 qualification.
  • Highly tenacious and resilient, flexible to changing demands.
  • Confident in taking ownership of issues to resolution in a timely manner.
  • Not hesitant in having difficult conversations.
  • Excellent communicator able to adapt and build rapport/provide advice to all levels.
  • Active listener who is naturally inquisitive and able to coach people to reach a resolution.

Working Arrangements:

Hybrid working arrangement, with 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home.
