Role Overview:
CBRE is seeking a qualified Lead Mechanical Engineer to engage in a diverse array of projects, including office renovations, laboratory setups, industrial and logistics facilities, data centers, historical and public structures, refurbishments, new constructions, plant upgrades, feasibility assessments, project oversight, sustainability initiatives, and technical evaluations.
The ideal candidate will be a high-achieving professional, positioned at the upper echelon of engineering expertise, and either seeking advancement or already functioning at a senior level. Candidates should possess a degree or be on the path to chartership, demonstrating a high level of technical proficiency. Practical experience in hands-on roles may be advantageous, depending on other qualifications.
For the right individual, CBRE offers support for ongoing training, education, and skill enhancement. The Lead Mechanical Engineer will collaborate with Associate, Director, and Senior Director-level engineers and will be expected to manage their own projects.
Our Engineering Consultancy Services division in the UK & Ireland comprises over 60 engineers across various disciplines and is a vital component of CBRE Building Consultancy. Candidate Profile:
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with individuals at all levels of seniority
- Degree-level education or equivalent high-level technical qualifications

- Outstanding organizational abilities and meticulous attention to detail
- Flexible work approach with a readiness to travel as required
- Technical expertise, including proficiency in REVIT/CAD and lighting/electrical calculation software
