About the Role

The Head of UK Student Recruitment is a key position in the Recruitment, Marketing and Communications team at Nottingham Trent University.

We are seeking a driven and dynamic professional with experience in delivering ambitious growth targets in a complex organisation, preferably in higher education, to join our award-winning team.

As a leader, you will be responsible for building strong relationships with internal stakeholders, particularly Executive Deans, and external partners, including schools and colleges, to develop and implement effective recruitment strategies.

You will also lead the University's programme of recruitment events, including Open Days and campus visits, and work collaboratively with colleagues from digital experience and marketing to CRM and communications.

With excellent leadership skills and a strong track record of delivering against targets, you will have extensive experience of managing multiple stakeholders and leveraging relationships.

You will be customer-focused, data-led, and well-versed in the current challenges and opportunities in HE student recruitment.

We are looking for a passionate and experienced HE professional who can drive forward growth at a top-ranked university.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to meet ambitious growth targets
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to drive recruitment efforts
  • Lead the University's programme of recruitment events, including Open Days and campus visits
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues from digital experience and marketing to CRM and communications
  • Manage multiple stakeholders and leverage relationships to drive recruitment success

Requirements:

  • Experience in delivering ambitious growth targets in a complex organisation, preferably in higher education
