Autism Support Specialist at Clarus Education Ltd

Location: South London

Salary: £95 - £105 per day (based on experience)

Contract: Long Term

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 4:30pm

Role Overview:

As an Autism Support Specialist, you will:

  • Engage with students diagnosed with Autism and various additional needs.
  • Work full-time during term time.
  • Benefit from competitive daily pay.
  • Receive valuable training and support to enhance your skills as an Autism Support Specialist.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design personalized learning experiences tailored to each student's unique requirements.
  • Prepare educational materials and facilitate engaging classroom activities.
  • Offer emotional and physical assistance to help students connect with their environment.
  • Collaborate with a supportive team to overcome challenges and foster a positive learning atmosphere.

Qualifications:

While full training will be provided, prior experience as a Teaching Assistant or working with students on the autism spectrum is highly valued. We also welcome candidates with backgrounds in hospitality, outdoor education, or office environments.

We seek individuals who can adapt to diverse classroom settings, both indoors and outdoors, and who possess a collaborative spirit to contribute to our team culture.
