This well-regarded institution is committed to fostering a supportive environment, backed by a strong leadership team that values collaboration and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare the classroom for lessons and ensure a tidy environment post-lesson.
  • Assist educators in the preparation of instructional materials and resources.
  • Monitor and document student progress for reporting to the teacher.
  • Support students in maintaining focus during instructional time.
  • Oversee group activities, including sports and school excursions.
  • Help manage student behavior in alignment with school policies.
  • Attend to the needs of students who may be feeling unwell or distressed.

We aim to provide a nurturing and secure learning atmosphere for all students. While prior experience is not mandatory, familiarity with supporting students with specific needs such as:

  • Autism
  • Emotional and Behavioral Challenges
  • ADHD

will be considered advantageous.

The working hours are from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM, including a one-hour lunch break.

A valid DBS on the update service is required, along with completion of Level 2 Safeguarding training prior to employment.
