About the Role

Our client, a dedicated family-run enterprise, is seeking a Finance Operations Manager. In this pivotal role, you will collaborate closely with the Directors and oversee the daily financial operations of the organization.

What We Offer

  • Work Schedule: Monday to Thursday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
  • Early Closure on Fridays at 3:30 PM

  • Competitive Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum, based on experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily financial operations of the organization
  • Manage Credit Control processes
  • Supervise purchase ledger and ensure timely payments to creditors
  • Prepare monthly management accounts
  • Handle submissions for payment applications to clients
  • Conduct contract reconciliations
  • Prepare HMRC Statutory Returns, including CIS and VAT
  • Generate management reports and perform job cost analysis
  • Compile all financial documentation and coordinate with the accountant for statutory annual accounts
  • Manage cash flow effectively
  • Conduct bank reconciliations
  • Provide payroll support in the absence of the HR/Business Administrator for approximately 50 employees
