Quality Technician Role Overview

We are seeking a meticulous Quality Technician to ensure our products adhere to the highest standards of safety and quality. As a key member of our team, you will engage in quality assurance processes that support our commitment to excellence in operational infrastructure for humanitarian, defense, and security sectors globally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Creating and maintaining detailed inspection reports
  • Conducting inspections of products to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards
  • Advising production staff on quality-related decisions
  • Documenting and reporting any quality discrepancies
  • Identifying and recommending improvements in quality control processes
  • Leading investigations into internal quality issues
  • Performing incoming inspections of components
  • Ensuring completeness of product data documentation
  • Issuing reports and corrective measures as necessary
  • Familiarity with manufacturing processes, welding, and inspection is advantageous

Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of inspection methodologies and testing equipment
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings
  • Experience working within an ISO9001 Quality Systems framework
  • Ability to operate independently with minimal oversight

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Internal auditor certification is a plus
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing setting
  • Background in welding, fabrication, and machining techniques
  • Experience in weld inspection is beneficial
