Main Responsibilities

As a Security Officer with OCS Group, you will be responsible for delivering day-to-day security operations to provide a safe and secure environment for students, staff, and visitors. This includes:

  • Conducting patrols of the campus premises to ensure the security and safety of university buildings and equipment.
  • Providing customer-focused security services and responding to incidents and emergencies.
  • Monitoring access and egress to all buildings on the campus and reporting breaches.
  • Ensuring the integrity of security systems and reporting any issues to the Control Room.
  • Reporting all incidents and accidents to the Control Room and submitting written reports as required.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Security Industry Authority Door Supervisor Licence.
  • A Security Industry Authority CCTV Licence.
  • A First Aid Certificate.
  • Previous experience within the Security Industry.
  • Ability to follow policy and procedures.
  • Flexibility and willingness to work a 4-on-4-off shift pattern.
