About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Officer to join our team at GUK. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our customers and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular patrols of the shopping centre to identify and mitigate potential security risks
- Respond to security incidents and emergencies in a professional and effective manner
- Provide excellent customer service and support to our customers and staff
- Work closely with our retail partners to maintain a positive and secure shopping environment
- Monitor CCTV systems and report any incidents or suspicious activity
- Follow GUK's and client procedures and protocols regarding health and safety
Requirements:
- SIA and CCTV licence
- Right to work in the UK
- Excellent customer service skills
- Basic report writing and IT skills
- Able to compose emails and prepare incident reports
- Proactively uses initiative to recognise priorities within own workload
- Able to problem solve
- A good level of spoken and written English
- Dealing with difficult situations and finding solutions
