Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Front of House Team Member at German Doner Kebab. As a key member of our front-of-house team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest service, ensuring a seamless dining experience, and contributing to the overall success of our restaurant.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional guest service, ensuring a warm and welcoming experience for all customers.
  • Process guest orders accurately and efficiently, using our point-of-sale system.
  • Deliver orders to the kitchen and assist in preparing and packing food and beverages.
  • Ensure that all orders are fully complete and ready to be received by the guest.
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary environment, adhering to our high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
  • Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure seamless service and efficient order fulfillment.
  • Upsell and promote additional food items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales.
  • Process sales, provide guests with receipts, and deliver food in a timely manner.
  • Answer the telephone and respond to guest inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Assemble and package orders to our brand standard.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests and colleagues.
  • Ability to maintain a clean and smart appearance, adhering to our dress code standards.
  • Positive and enthusiastic approach to all tasks, with a focus on delivering exceptional guest service.
  • Ability to adapt to changing business volume levels with a sense of urgency.
  • Knowledge of our menu and allergens, with the ability to provide accurate information to guests.
  • Ability to follow instructions and achieve brand standards (The GDK way).
  • Ability to fill in daily paperwork in line with our standards.
  • Ability to be cross-trained in all areas of the kitchen and front counter.
