Job Title: Install Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as an Install Operations Manager. This role will be responsible for managing the installation and maintenance of our access control systems in multi-family buildings.

About the Role

The Install Operations Manager will be responsible for:

  • Managing multiple external install partners to ensure smooth and efficient installation of our access control systems.
  • Ensuring high-quality installation and maintenance of our systems, with a focus on speed and efficiency.
  • Defining initiatives to improve installation success and time to install.
  • Scouting for new install partners and onboarding them into our network to increase coverage, reduce costs, and improve quality.
  • Executing remote and onsite trainings for targeted technical teams.
  • Compiling and delivering test result datasets to relevant stakeholders.
  • Serving as an expert resource for end-user support workflows.
  • Supporting on-site investigations when needed.
About the Team

The Amazon Key team sits within the Amazon Devices team, alongside Ring and other Home Security teams. We are a uniquely cross-functional team within Amazon, and often serve as the connective tissue between Smart Home/Devices, Logistics, Operations, and Retail/Shopping.

Requirements
  • Experience in program or project management.
  • Experience with smart home devices and access control systems.
  • Electrician or equivalent qualification and work experience.
  • Ability to define processes and workflows.
  • Understanding of technical dependencies.
  • Knowledge of wireless communication technologies.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Fluent written and verbal communication in English.
  • Strong bias for action.
  • Proven track record of delivering results on time.
  • Good communication skills to efficiently communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
