About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at Thomas Franks Ltd. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional food service and ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety in our kitchens.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and manage food service areas to ensure efficient and effective meal service.
  • Ensure prompt and courteous service to our clients and customers, meeting our high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Develop and implement menus and recipes that meet our company's expectations and standards.
  • Manage and maintain kitchen equipment, supplies, and inventory to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff to ensure they are equipped to deliver exceptional service and meet our high standards.
  • Monitor and maintain food safety and hygiene standards, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and company policies.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery and meet customer needs.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of new menu ideas and concepts.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef or equivalent role in a similar environment.
  • Excellent culinary skills and knowledge of food preparation, presentation, and safety.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and train staff.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations, with the ability to maintain high standards.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other departments and teams to achieve common goals.
