Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and organized individual to oversee the production line, ensuring efficient and effective operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the line, coordinating with team members, and maintaining high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Start-up Procedures: Conduct thorough checks to ensure equipment and processes are ready for production.
  • Communication: Keep team members informed about job priorities and updates.
  • Line Preparation: Set up the production line for smooth operation.
  • Packaging & Label Collection: Collect packaging and labels, ensuring Quality Control checks before use.
  • Fruit Checks: Verify correct variety and job number in the Wet area.
  • Team Briefing: Instruct packers and line hygiene staff on upcoming jobs.
  • Documentation: Complete paperwork accurately and on time.
  • Continuous Monitoring: Track production sheet updates and order extra materials as needed.
  • Quality Control: Ensure QC checks extra bags and flow wrap samples.
  • End-of-Job Procedures: Remove packaging and clean the line for the next task.
  • Status Updates: Update job status on the production sheet according to SOPs.
  • Completion Reporting: Report to the Packhouse Manager once all orders are completed.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track key performance indicators to monitor team performance and production efficiency.
  • Timely Completion: Ensure accurate and on-time completion of orders with legible paperwork.
  • Hygiene Compliance: Ensure staff and packaging comply with hygiene regulations.
  • Auditing & Reporting: Prepare and submit various reports, including audit reports, profit and loss reports, downtime reports, and external and internal rejection reports.
