Job Summary:

As a Production Line Team Lead at Supreme Recruitment, you will be responsible for overseeing the smooth operation of our food production line. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform start-up checks online to ensure equipment and processes are ready for production.
  • Communicate with OS chiller and machine operators to keep them informed about job priorities and any changes.
  • Prepare and set up the production line for efficient operation.
  • Collect packaging and labels from the packaging store and ensure Quality Control checks them before use.
  • Verify the correct variety and job number are present in the Wet area for the job at hand.
  • Provide clear directions to packers and line hygiene staff on upcoming jobs.
  • Complete paperwork accurately and in a timely manner to ensure records are up to date.
  • Monitor the production sheet for updates and order extra materials as needed.
  • Ensure Quality Control checks extra bags and flow wrap samples before use.

Requirements:
  • Knowledge of the role and experience in similar positions.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.

What We Offer:
  • Overtime paid at 1.25 times the hourly rate after 48 hours.
  • Competitive rates of pay ranging from £12.13 to £13.79 per hour.
