About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Mental Health Nurse to join our team in Oxfordshire. As a Registered Mental Health Nurse, you will play a pivotal role in delivering essential NHS community mental health services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' mental health status.
- Administer medications and monitor their effects on patients.
- Provide therapeutic interventions such as counseling and behavioral therapies.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Offer emotional support and education to patients and their families, promoting mental wellness and recovery.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Current and valid registration with the NMC.
- Proven experience within a community recovery role.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
- Past experience in CMHT.
