Our Team

The Schroders Solutions division currently looks after over £200bn in assets across DB, DC, and Insurance clients, predominantly based in the UK. You'll be working in the UK Client Solutions team, responsible for the design and delivery of tailored investment strategies for our clients.

Your Role

You'll be a senior client-facing role, leading the Solutions strategic relationship with a portfolio of large institutional clients, primarily UK Defined Benefit schemes. You'll lead client teams, manage key client projects, and work across UK Client Solutions and the wider Solutions business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leading client teams and managing key client projects
  • Delivering a wide range of investment services, from designing investment strategy to developing solutions in response to changing market conditions
  • Developing content and supporting the creation of new initiatives and propositions to bring to market across the UK pensions landscape

Requirements

  • Experienced professional with a background in investment consulting and leading large and complex client relationships
  • Great communication and team working skills and a collaborative attitude
  • The ability to work co-operatively with a range of groups and deliver agreed projects on time in line with client expectations
  • Some experience of pitching and winning new business and with an appetite to do more
  • A sound working knowledge of UK pension schemes, the investment challenges they face, and the regulatory environment in which they operate

Desirable Qualifications

  • Extensive experience within a solutions, asset management, or investment consulting business
  • Experience working with pension schemes or other institutional investor types
  • Attained a professional qualification such as CFA or actuarial
