We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our integrated mental health team at HMP Leeds. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality clinical care to patients, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to achieve excellent outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert clinical care, assessment, and treatment to patients on your caseload
  • Contribute to the strategic direction of our mental health service, leading senior clinicians on service developments and providing clinical supervision
  • Work with the multidisciplinary team to review referrals, determine treatment plans, conduct risk assessments, and participate in complex case reviews

Requirements

  • Registered professional with current registration (GMC)
  • Specialist Registration in either General Adult or Forensic Psychiatry
  • Approved under section of the MHS 1983
  • Understanding of the complexities of multidisciplinary and multi-agency working
  • Up-to-date knowledge in adult psychiatry and PD
  • Awareness of current issues in mental health service provision, policy, and legislation
