Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Operations Manager to lead our Clinical Research Nurses and Laboratory Operations teams in the UK. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the scientific and medical standards we provide are met.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of Clinical Research Nurses and Laboratory Operations staff
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve team performance and efficiency
  • Oversee the Supervisors Team and indirectly manage a team of 40+ people
  • Provide strategic direction, leadership, and full-cycle performance management
  • Drive continuous improvement and best practices throughout the lab
  • Perform full oversight of on-site client audits

Requirements

  • Substantial proven track record of progressive leadership responsibilities in a clinical research, lab, or related business environment
  • Minimum of 3 years supervisory experience, especially developing supervisors who have to oversee large teams
  • Profound experience in carrying out performance appraisals, team goal achievement initiatives, mentoring, and training
  • BSc in science or medical fields
  • Six Sigma Green Belt is preferred
