Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Team Supervisor to join our team at the LEE Fortrea Clinical Research Unit Limited. As a Team Supervisor, you will be responsible for providing leadership, training, and mentoring to our team of Clinical Research Nurses in Leeds, ensuring that all practical aspects of clinical studies are conducted to the highest possible quality and under the study protocol, SOPs, and ICH/GCP standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide guidance, training, coaching, and mentoring to a Nurse team to deliver quality data on time, in strict accordance with relevant protocols, SOPs, and in compliance with ICH/GCP.
  • Play an active role in the development and implementation of Quality systems within the Clinic to ensure that the safety, welfare, and dignity of research subjects are not compromised.
  • Build an impactful team by interviewing and making hiring decisions, performance management, managing KPIs, weekly 1:1s discussions, development, and career progression, discipline conversations when needed.
  • Lead by example and actively support the culture and values of the Fortrea Clinical Research Unit at Drapers Yard.
  • Craft new training plans, design training materials, and delivery. Ensure that all team member training files are up to date and complete in accordance with SOPs and ICH/GCP.
  • Ensure that a safe working environment is maintained in the Clinic, and that safe working practices are employed.
  • Full oversight of on-site client audits.
  • Drive continuous improvement and best practices throughout the lab, identifying opportunities for process optimization and efficiency gains.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Life Sciences or Business.
  • Current knowledge of ICH-GCP standards.
  • Six Sigma Green Belt.
