Job Opportunity for a Clinical Lead Psychiatrist
Jupiter Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Lead Psychiatrist to join our team. As a key member of our mental health services, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care and support to patients with mental disorders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Clinical Team: Take charge of a multidisciplinary team, including ward rounds, risk reviews, and strategic reviews to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients.
- Responsible Clinician: Fulfill the role of Responsible Clinician to patients detained under the Mental Health Act (1983), providing expert guidance and support.
- Psychiatric Expertise: Offer a psychiatric perspective to the multidisciplinary team, contributing to the assessment, formulation, and treatment of patients.
- Service Development: Contribute to management meetings and clinical governance meetings, helping to shape the development of our mental health services.
- Training and Supervision: Provide in-house training programs and offer supervision to junior medical staff, ensuring the highest standards of care.
- Professional Development: Maintain CPD and re-validation requirements, staying up-to-date with the latest developments in psychiatry and mental health.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Leadership and Innovation: Demonstrate the ability to initiate corporate decisions and drive change within our organization.
- Expertise in Psychiatry: Possess a deep understanding of current developments in psychiatry and other aspects of mental health.
- Change Management: Have substantial knowledge of change management, relevant legislation, and contemporary issues in mental health.
- Consultant Experience: Bring previous Consultant experience in a management role, with a proven track record of success.
