Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our Customer Protection team as a Senior Customer Protection Specialist. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in safeguarding our customers and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Protection and Compliance: Conduct thorough investigations to detect money laundering risks and potential vulnerable gamblers, ensuring that customers can support their levels of play and are protected from gambling harm.
  • Customer Engagement: Handle sensitive customer information and act as a referral point for less experienced analysts, providing guidance and support to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Process Optimization: Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to ensure that processes are compliant and fit for purpose, maximizing the use of technology available.
  • Training and Development: Deliver training to new or less experienced analysts, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
  • Escalations and Complex Cases: Act as a point of referral for complex cases and escalations, providing guidance and support to ensure that outcomes are well documented and auditable.
Requirements
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to communicate sensitively and calmly with customers who may be distressed or angry.
  • Confidentiality and Discretion: Experience of handling sensitive, confidential customer information.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Thorough understanding of Safer Gambling and AML policy requirements, as well as knowledge of Safer Gambling and AML regulations.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Proven track record in delivering high-quality work in a fast-paced, challenging environment, with evidence of sound judgment and analysis to identify potentially vulnerable customers.
