Key Responsibilities- Exercise close and effective supervisory control over all persons on site to ensure safe and efficient conduct of all operations.
- Coordinate site inspections, calibrations, and monitor work schedules for quarry, asphalt plant, and associated activities.
- Monitor and analyze plant data and production statistics, producing reports in line with business objectives.
- Support operations in line with company systems and procedures, ensuring maximum co-operation with weighbridge and sales staff.
- Maintain the company reputation with reference to professional standards, operational efficiency, and social and environmental responsibilities.
- Member of the Institute of Quarrying with a registered and current record of CPD.
- Knowledge of the Quarrying Industry, including development, extraction, load and haul, crushing and screening, asphalt production, engineering maintenance, and waste management/recycling.
- Underpinning knowledge of quality management systems to assist with compliance to ISO 9001, 14001 & 45001.
- A competitive hourly rate of £16.00ph - £17.00ph.
