The Role

As the Chef Supervisor, you'll assist your manager in overseeing the operational and financial aspects of our school catering facility. Your primary focus will be on delivering high-quality food and service while showcasing your creativity and flair.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Coaching and training the kitchen team to ensure they're equipped to deliver exceptional service
  • Assisting with catering operations, including stock management, food costs, and labor optimization
  • Maintaining consistency in food and service standards across the facility
  • Driving sales through promotions and added-value events
  • Managing controllable costs and overseeing menu development
  • Ensuring compliance with company systems, procedures, and legislation
  • Conducting regular audits to ensure standards are met
About You

We're looking for someone who shares our passion for delivering exceptional food and service. The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Craft-based experience using fresh ingredients
  • Knowledge of health and safety practices
  • Financial acumen, including gross profit management and sales targets
  • Line management experience
  • Experience in a similar environment
