The Role

As the Chef Supervisor, you'll assist your manager with operational and financial responsibilities for our school catering facility. Your focus will be on delivering high-quality food and service while showcasing your creativity and ability to make our school catering offer stand out.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Coaching and training the kitchen team to ensure they're motivated and skilled
  • Assisting with catering operations, including stock, food, and labor costs
  • Ensuring consistency in food and service standards for students and staff
  • Driving sales through promotions and added-value events
  • Managing and improving controllable costs
  • Overseeing menu development
  • Maintaining company systems and procedures, as well as adhering to legislation
  • Conducting regular audits to ensure standards are met
About You

We're looking for someone who shares our passion for delivering exceptional food and service to our schools. You'll need:

  • Craft-based experience using fresh ingredients
  • Knowledge of health and safety practices
  • Financial understanding of gross profit management and achieving sales targets
  • Line management experience
  • Experience in a similar environment
