Job Title: Chef de Partie

Four Seasons Hotel London at Tower Bridge is seeking a skilled and experienced Chef de Partie to join our Main Kitchen team.

Job Summary:

The Chef de Partie will be responsible for supervising the Main Kitchen team, working closely with the Sous Chefs and Chef de Cuisine to ensure the smooth operation of the kitchen. This includes overseeing the Demi Chefs de Partie and Commis Chefs, as well as maintaining high standards of food quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of the Main Kitchen team, ensuring efficient and effective operation of the kitchen.
  • Work closely with the Sous Chefs and Chef de Cuisine to plan and implement menus, manage inventory, and control costs.
  • Develop and maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and safety, adhering to Four Seasons Hotel London at Tower Bridge's culinary standards.
  • Recruit, train, and develop the skills of Demi Chefs de Partie and Commis Chefs, ensuring they meet the hotel's culinary standards.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as Food and Beverage, to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Contribute to the development of new menu ideas, recipes, and culinary techniques, staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
Requirements:
  • 2-4 years of previous culinary experience in a high-quality, fresh food environment.
  • Working knowledge of Food Safety, HACCP, and COSHH.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to motivate and lead a team.
  • Excellent knife skills and a range of culinary techniques, with a passion for the culinary world.
  • Able to work early shifts and weekends, with flexibility to adapt to changing kitchen demands.
