Key Responsibilities- Provide SHBBV education, testing, or treatment to young people attending the Choices Abortion Services
- Deliver health promotion around contraception and empower young people to tackle barriers to accessing services
- Work in our HR+ Service, which includes Genitourinary Medicine, HIV, and Contraception
- Participate in Outreach activities, working in local communities to provide health services
- Degree in Public Health, Health Promotion, or Community Education
- Experience working with the general public and delivering health promotion and interventions
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently
- Non-judgmental and friendly approach, with a person-centered attitude
- Experience working with young people and delivering health promotion activities and interventions
- Experience using Motivational Interviewing (MI) techniques to promote behavior change
This is a part-time position (18 hours per week) for a fixed term of 2 years and 6 months.
