Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Development Worker to join our team at Youth Scotland. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing key relationships with funders and partners, and will play a key role in the delivery of our programmes and projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage key relationships with funders and partners
  • Deliver programmes and projects to a high standard
  • Work closely with the Field Manager to oversee all programmes and projects
  • Lead facilitation with vulnerable young people, staff, and volunteers in the outdoor environment
  • Involved in practical outdoor project delivery at Threipmuir Farm Steading and in the community
  • Good knowledge of relevant policies and procedures relating to working with vulnerable young people, communicating with clients and partner organisations, and updating social media
Requirements:
  • Experience of project management and lead facilitation with vulnerable young people, staff, and volunteers in the outdoor environment
  • Practical rural and horticulture skills would be an asset
  • Previous experience of charity funding and grant applications
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a car
