Job Summary

Tate is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Employment Guidance Specialist to join our team. As an Employment Guidance Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting unemployed residents in the Barnet UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF) program to progress towards employment.

Main Responsibilities

  • Manage a caseload of participants requiring additional support prior to entering employment, providing guidance and support to help them overcome barriers to employment and achieve their job-related goals.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date participant records in line with contract and funding requirements, ensuring regular contact is maintained with clients and recorded for the duration of the program.
  • Provide advice and support, monitoring engagement and progress in line with agreed action plans, and offer guidance and recommendations to referrers as needed.
  • Use triage assessments and skills analysis to support and prioritize the needs of participants, referring them to internal and external advice, guidance, and support in line with their tailored action plan.
  • Provide onward referrals and signposting, participating in case conferencing and other learning activities to help improve the service provided to clients.
  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of the local labour market, training opportunities, and relevant support agencies, ensuring compliance with Health and Safety policies and procedures.
