Job Purpose:
As an Automotive Customer Service Specialist, you will be tasked with delivering a friendly and efficient reception, ensuring a superior level of customer satisfaction. You will uphold high standards of quality service and contribute to ongoing process enhancements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet all customers warmly and address their needs promptly.
- Collect and document complete customer and vehicle information along with an accurate description of the required services.
- Coordinate with the Workshop Foreman/Service Manager regarding the status of vehicles.
- Notify customers of any delays in service completion, adhering to company standards.
- Maintain the Workshop loading system efficiently.
- Inform customers of any incomplete work and schedule future appointments for completion.
- Prepare invoices for both cash and account customers.
- Present invoices to cash customers and process payments prior to vehicle release.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve complaints effectively.
- Work alongside the Service Manager to ensure optimal Workshop loading and labor utilization.
- Ensure that all necessary information for warranty items is accurately recorded.
- Communicate with the Parts Department regarding parts orders for vehicles in service.
- Organize and file Job Cards and related documentation.
- Assist in achieving sales targets as outlined by the Aftersales Service Manager.
Candidate ProfileAbout You:
- Proven experience in customer service and administrative roles.
- Adaptable with a positive outlook.
- Experience in the automotive sector is preferred but not mandatory.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Background in sales or customer service environments.
- Valid driving license.
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
