Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Hydraulics Systems Engineer to contribute to our dynamic team. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with the Lead Hydraulics Engineer, playing a vital role in the design, validation, and testing of hydraulic systems for groundbreaking projects.

Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop hydraulic systems across various marine sectors, including commercial, leisure, and shipping.
• Design and specify hydraulic systems, producing schematics, 3D models, and manufacturing drawings of components.
• Create comprehensive documentation and perform calculations to support design initiatives.
• Utilize simulation software to model hydraulic systems for validation purposes.
• Develop, test, and oversee the implementation of hydraulic systems.
• Manage supplier relationships and support system commissioning for vessels.
• Provide technical support and detailed documentation for hydraulic systems.

Qualifications:
• Degree in Fluid Power, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Control Systems, or a related field.
• Preferred hydraulics training (NFPC or equivalent), with training available for the right candidate.
• Strong understanding of industrial and mobile hydraulic systems and components.
• Knowledge of mechanical systems is essential.
• Experience with CAD software, ideally Siemens NX.
• Ability to create detailed hydraulic schematics.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Capable of performing hands-on tasks safely and effectively.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Proven ability to excel in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Excellent communication skills to convey complex technical information clearly.
• Willingness to travel as necessary.
