Key Responsibilities- Administer occupational pension schemes in accordance with contracts and deadlines, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Manage day-to-day administration for a portfolio of pension schemes, providing exceptional customer service to clients and members.
- Supervise and mentor up to 5 staff members, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet their performance targets.
- Oversee complex pension administration tasks and calculations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Manage treasury and payroll activities, ensuring accurate and timely processing of client work.
- Coordinate administrative projects and client workloads, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines.
- Check non-standard correspondence and reports, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Handle errors and complaints effectively, providing solutions and resolving issues promptly.
- Train, coach, and mentor staff, providing feedback and guidance to improve performance.
- Attend trustee and client meetings as needed, representing the company and providing updates on scheme performance.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of client work, meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results.
- Assist with monitoring transactional activity for clients, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
- Deal with non-standard client/member queries, providing clear and concise information and support.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in pension scheme administration, with a strong understanding of regulatory requirements.
- Logical problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and provide solutions.
- Ability to prioritize workloads and meet deadlines, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
- Attention to detail and accuracy, with a strong commitment to quality and compliance.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to provide clear and concise information to clients and staff.
- Ability to perform and explain complex calculations, with a strong understanding of pension scheme administration.
- Confidence in providing feedback and mentoring, with a focus on developing staff skills and performance.
