POSITION: Manager of Controls Reporting & Operational Losses within the BCB Chief Controls Office

COMPENSATION: £62,000 - £76,000

Opportunity Summary

In this role, you will report directly to the Senior Manager of the BCB Chief Controls Office (CCO) within the Controls Reporting & Operational Losses Team. Your primary responsibility will be to deliver insightful and high-quality data visualizations and dashboards that enhance the BCB control framework in accordance with our Group's Enterprise Risk Management Framework (ERMF). You will collaborate with control specialists to aid in the design, optimization, and automation of the end-to-end control environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and develop data visualization solutions that address those requirements.
  • Convert quantitative and qualitative analyses into engaging visuals for Risk & Control stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with risk and control owners to automate data and oversight processes, thereby improving the control environment.
  • Document data visualization methodologies, tools, and best practices for future reference.
  • Assist risk and control teams in achieving customer, business, and strategic objectives.
  • Contribute to the establishment of a first-line control management center of excellence that promotes safe growth and high-quality customer service.
  • Aid in the development and execution of control strategies to assess and test the design and operational effectiveness of controls across various business processes.
  • Support the continuous enhancement of control tooling solutions to facilitate the optimization and automation of the control environment.
  • Ensure timely reporting on the effectiveness and performance of controls and compliance by maintaining high data quality standards.
