Business Unit Reporting Controller

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Unit Reporting Controller to join our team at NatWest Group. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality financial reporting outputs and ensuring the integrity of our financial data.
Your primary focus will be on reviewing product level data outputs from the product control teams to ensure accuracy and compliance with policies. You will also be responsible for delivering within service level agreements to provide timely and accurate financial, statutory, regulatory, and management reporting outputs.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Supporting change initiatives and process improvements related to our financial processes and applications.
- Delivering and owning the end-to-end control and integrity of franchise and legal entity balance sheets, fixed assets accounting, and project accounting and reporting.
- Identifying process improvement ideas and sharing them with the team, ensuring all reports and outputs are produced on time and of high quality.
- Communicating process changes to the team and providing input into process improvements.
To be successful in this role, you will be a qualified accountant or working towards a qualification, with a background in global finance teams, managing key finance deliverables, and experience in managing the delivery of core financial control and reporting outputs.
You will also need knowledge of data management techniques and applications, such as Python, AWS, and Tableau, as well as an understanding of change best practices and experience of delivering change in the financial services industry or medium to large corporates.
