HR Assistant Job Opportunity

VANRATH is partnering with a valued manufacturing client to find a skilled HR Assistant to join their HR function on a temporary basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for a junior HR professional to gain valuable experience and develop their skills in a busy HR environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as a point of contact for employees and visitors, providing excellent customer service and support.
  • Assist with recruitment, testing, interviews, and documentation, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
  • Compile and summarise confidential information for reports, maintaining the highest level of discretion and professionalism.
  • Manage HR systems, extract and analyse data for reports, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Support company health, well-being, and social responsibility initiatives, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Take notes during senior management and HR meetings, ensuring accurate and timely communication.
About You:
  • Hold a 3rd-level qualification and/or CIPD qualification.
  • Have a minimum of one year's experience in a customer-facing role, demonstrating excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Have experience within an engineering manufacturing environment, with a strong understanding of the industry.
  • Have previous experience in an HR role, with a proven track record of success.
  • Be proficient in using PAMS and NorthTime Pro, with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
