VANRATH is partnering with a valued manufacturing client to find a skilled HR Assistant to cover a period of maternity leave for up to 12 months. This is an excellent opportunity for a junior HR professional to gain experience in a busy HR function with great development opportunities.
Key Responsibilities- Act as a contact point for employees and visitors, providing a high level of customer service.
- Assist with recruitment, testing, interviews, and documentation, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Compile and summarise confidential information for reports, maintaining confidentiality and discretion.
- Handle assigned HR projects and report any issues, demonstrating proactive problem-solving skills.
- Manage HR systems, extract and analyse data for reports, and provide insights to inform business decisions.
- Support company health, well-being, and social responsibility initiatives, promoting a positive work environment.
- Take notes during senior management and HR meetings, ensuring accurate records and follow-up actions.
We are looking for a highly motivated and organized individual with:
3rd level qualification and/or CIPD qualification.Minimum of one year's experience in a customer-facing role.Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.Experience within an engineering manufacturing environment.Previous experience in an HR role.Experience in using PAMS and NorthTime Pro.Company Benefits- Generous employer pension contributions.
